This small winery, built according to the “PassiveWinery” concept, is located just a few meters from the walls of Ribadavia. It is run by Antonio Miguez Amil, a *colleiteiro* (independent grower-winemaker) who hails from a lineage of growers and wine producers dating back to the 18th century.

Situated near the confluence of the Avia and Miño rivers, Antonio’s winery processes the harvest from three small, historic vineyards located along the banks of the Avia River. Spanning 2 hectares, this small-scale winemaker has restored grape varieties and *socalcos* (traditional terraced vineyards) in areas that have produced wine since the 6th century. Together with his family, he crafts unique, historic wines rooted in regenerative viticulture—a practice that respects nature and the environment. His philosophy is one of deep love for the land, inspired by great Galician figures such as Rosalía de Castro, Castelao, Risco, and Otero Pedrayo.

He follows the principles of Rudolf Steiner and his philosophy of anthroposophy. The winery is particularly notable for reviving *viño tostado tinto*—a rare, naturally sweet red wine. Produced only in exceptional years, this limited annual output—amounting to just 100 or 200 bottles—represents one of the world’s historic sweet wines.
